WHO WE ARE

Our efforts begin at the grassroots level of local politics. We are focused actively registering new voters, educating our neighbors, actively participating in our community, and supporting Democratic candidates for county, state, and national offices.

We take an active role in the selection of Democratic candidates; and most importantly, defining and promoting issues as well as positions for the Essex County Democratic Party.

LEROY JONES, JR.

Chairman

LeRoy Jones serves as the chairman of East Orange Democratic Committee hailing from the City of East Orange, as a former city administrator, Freeholder, and Assemblyman, from his years of experience in public service, he along with other elected leaders of EODC take an active role in defining, promoting issues, and positions for the county party based upon understanding the interests of Democratic voters in East Orange.
